Victoria returns to Buxton with her tribute to Kathleen Ferrier in the centenary year of her birth. Through her letters and diaries, and the music which she was associated with, Victoria and her accompanist Anna Tilbrook will take the audience on a journey from Kathleen's humble beginnings in a Lancashire town to the dizzy heights of fame she had achieved in her tragically short career.

Victoria will be creating two roles in the eagerly awaited opera by George Benjamin, with Text by Martin Crimp. The premiere in Aix will be followed by performances in Amsterdam, Toulouse, London, Florence, Vienna, Munich, and Paris, from summer 2012 to autumn 2013.
